Checkerboard patterns feel both ancient and contemporary: Roman mosaics, medieval illuminated manuscripts, board games, pixel art. Like my algorithmic art collection Agar and illustrated series Joshua Tree, this check cam uses base checkerboard grids in doubling scales, so that every available size check is half the size of the next.
